CHILD MINSITRY – SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION
In Autumn:
First Reconciliation – In the Fall of 2006 we will prepare and celebrate the sacrament with students in grades 2 & 3. After 2006 all students will be prepared for the Sacrament of Reconciliation in 2nd grade before they receive First Eucharist.
Our program provides instruction for the parents as well as the students. The students will be prepared for the Sacrament of Reconciliation through instruction in class (day school and Christian Formation), special parish gatherings and activities, along with home preparation. The Sacrament is celebrated in the Fall of the year.
In Spring:
First Eucharist – The First Eucharist Program is designed for students in second grade who have had one year of religious education before entering the First Eucharist Program. Students will be prepared for Eucharist through classroom instruction (day school and Christian Formation), special parish gatherings and activities, along with home preparation. Our program provides instruction for the parents as well as the students. First Eucharist is celebrated in the Spring of the year.
