RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
This is a process by which non-baptized adults become Catholic or members of another Christian tradition are received into the Catholic Church. Usually takes place from September through April or May. Contact Sr. Jane Mary at 262/251-0220 x158 if interested in being on the RCIA team (training provided) or as a participant.
Elizabeth Ministry
Following the example of Mary and Elizabeth, we visit and share the sacredness of life! Elizabeth Ministry is an outreach to families in special times of parenthood. Its purpose is to affirm, support, encourage and assist women and their spouses in response to their needs during the childbearing years. For further information, please contact Mrs. Geri Roskopf GeriRoskopf@aol.com.
Men’s Faith Sharing Group
The Men’s Faith Sharing Group at St. Mary Parish provides an opportunity for men to gather twice a month to discuss and reflect on the upcoming Sunday readings. There is also an opportunity to discuss issues in their lives in light of the Catholic faith. They gather on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays from 7 to 8:30 a.m. in the Parish Office. For more information, please contact Mr. Frank Currier 262/255-5873.
Catholics Returning Home
A six-week process offered twice a year through the Four Saints and a Good Shepherd Cluster by which Catholics who have been away from the Church may consider renewing their relationship with the Church. For more information please call Mrs. Shirley Zuzick, 262/251-3888 or e-mail KSZuzick1@aol.com.
Do you know someone who has been hurt or angered by the Church? Do you know someone for whom it has been awhile since they’ve been to Church? Or who is mad at the Church or God? Please ask them to give us and themselves another chance by joining us in the six-week session every Tuesday evening at 7 @ St. James Parish (W220N6588 Town Line Rd, MF). Former non-practicing Catholics will share their stories, feelings and concerns. There is NO obligation and perhaps some of your questions will be answered.
